Dawn Robinson-Patrick has over 20 years of experience in arts management, event coordination, arts education and creative consultation. She is dedicated to program development for cultural arts organizations that align with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. She has worked with various arts organizations including Lincoln Center and 651Arts, Brooklyn Academy of Music, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, and Brava Theater Center. Notably she has supported the creative directors for the Broadway musical FELA!, music artists Michelle Williams and Kesha, among others. In 2015 she became the Events Coordinator for Broward County Cultural Division. The role also included two years of project development for 31 cities, employing over 400 visual and performing artists and coordinating participatory art projects for the entire county. Most recently she was Program Director and Senior Manager of Cultural & Community Programs for The Ford in Hollywood. Her community engagement programs have cultivated creative opportunities for BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, foster youth and veterans’ communities among other underrepresented groups.
