Anna Luisa Petrisko
ALL TIME STOP NOW
November 10, 2021 at FRANKIE
ALL TIME STOP NOW is a video opera by Anna Luisa Petrisko which has been developed into a live performance of music, video and movement. For LAX Festival, she showed a first look of this new piece along with performer/collaborators Mark Golamco and Peter Hernández, and projection mapping artist Ana Carolina Estarita Guerrero. The music and concept was created during a residency at Coaxial Arts Foundation in 2020. Centered around pandemic conversations with her best friend who was living in a Buddhist monastery in Myanmar, the piece is a contemplation on stillness, listening, impermanence, kinship, and the spaciousness of time.
Written and Directed by Anna Luisa Petrisko in collaboration with performers Mark Golamco and Peter Hernández.
