L.A. Performance Practice is excited to welcome Claudia Diaz (she/her) to the team as our Programs Associate!
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Television, Film and Media studies from California State University, Los Angeles with an emphasis in screenwriting. Since graduating with her bachelor’s she’s gone on to produce theater and write short plays with an all-Latina and Female Lead playwriting group, Chicanas, Cholas y Chisme at Casa 0101 Theater. Claudia is mentored and works alongside Casa 0101 Theater Artistic Director and Founder, Josefina Lopez in television, film, and theater.
Outside of theater and film, Claudia is a radio host who enjoys interviewing guests about their paranormal experiences. In addition, she has a background in culinary arts and has assisted celebrity chefs. She brings to Los Angeles Performance Practice a broad perspective coming from a diverse background in multiple disciplines and looks forward to working with artists.
Claudia will support our local programs, as well as our upcoming administration of the California Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowships in Los Angeles County. To learn more about the Individual Artist Fellowships program, check out the post below.
