We are looking forward to an experimental revamping of our FREE ADVICE platform in December. What used to take place as in-person one-on-one advice sessions Upstairs at the Ace Hotel DTLA will now return in digital form, and in small groups.
We are all working in a time of so much uncertainty, and we recognize we may not have the advice or answers you’re looking for these days. However, we’re very hopeful that by coming together, in small groups, we can learn to lean on each other as a creative community in Los Angeles.
Available to any interested artist, this program offers an opportunity to meet (virtually) as a small group to support a generous exchange of ideas, practices, knowledge, and inspiration – across creative practices and disciplines.
LAPP producing staff Miranda Wright and Brian Sea will be in the room to host the conversations, and to offer any additional insight or knowledge of patterns in the field of contemporary performance.
Sessions will begin with a quick round of introductions, and will conclude with a summary of shared resources.
